The aims of the Association are:

1. To train and introduce persons specialized in the activity of a bodyguard and safety operatives in countries where there is a need.
2. To bring together and unite all european bodyguards where they are recognized.
3. To achieve jurisdictional reward in countries where they are not provided for.

The sphere of activity of a bodyguard has a field of action for the protection of royals, heads of state, diplomats, judges, High Military Ranking Officials, businessmen, celebrities and people of wealth that need the services of protection.

The training by EBA is open to men and women who have reached 18 years of age and who are immune from penal prejudgments. The qualifications of an associate is obtainable only by those who participate in a training program carried out under the supervision of the European Directorate Office. The associate chooses the training program and begins with a basic course with a duration of a week of full immersion which lasts 16 to 18 hours a day. In this way, they constantly improve their skills by participating in special training sessions every single time they find it necessary, with the courses specially organized in Italy and around the world.

Continuing training until the achievement of 100 hours of instruction, they are able to request the distinction and the European number that is going to replace the national one.

After attaining 200 hours of training you are bestowed with the silver pin and there is then the possibility of becoming a national instructor. Whereas with 500 hours of training, you are bestowed with the gold pin and there is then the possibility of becoming an instructor throughout Europe.

Moreover, the Association addresses to private structures the necessity of training their own internal operatives in the field of security.

Instructors and Methods of EBA

The instructors of EBA come from the best schools in the field on the international level.

Students and experts of the best techniques adopted by all existing special forces around the world have been known to amalgate different methods used for defense of the person (bodyguard) until creating the final method used by EBA.

• Counter communications-Electronic surveillance

• Research and identification of explosive devices

• Armed and Hand-to-Hand Combat

• First Aid for bodyguards (with certification)

• Escort methods in high-risk countries

• Legislation (Italian/Foreign)

• Security Planning for facilities, demonstrations, concerts, etc.

• Behavior analysis of the operative in stressful situations

• Formation for operatives in fire prevention (with certification)
